Terms & Conditions
All persons using the sauna, do so at their own risk.
Alcohol is not permitted in the sauna. Operators reserve the right to refuse admission to intoxicated persons.
Children under the age of 16 are NOT permitted to use the sauna in without the supervision of an adult booked in the session.
All hanging jewellery should be removed before entering the sauna as these will get hot very quickly and cause burns.
All persons using the sauna do so at their own risk. If you have any reservations regarding sauna use, it is essential that you consult your GP before making a booking.
You must not use the sauna if you:
Suffer from high or low blood pressure or any heart or circulatory disorder or suffer from epilepsy or diabetes;
Are pregnant
Are prone to dizziness or fainting
Have any fungal infections or open wounds on your body or feet.
All persons using the sea as a 'cold plunge' do so at their own risk. Please ensure you are a confident swimmer, we do recommend entering the sea in dangerous sea conditions. On the day of your sauna, Salt & Steam operators will inform you of the conditions. If conditions don’t allow it, please use the cold plunge baths provided.
Sauna Etiquette
Sauna etiquette must be adhered to at all times. This includes:
Removing footwear and washing feet in the bucket provided before entering the sauna.
Removing make-up and skincare products for hygiene reasons.
Ensuring you have not dyed your hair within the previous 72 hours.
Enter and exit the sauna in a slow and safe manner.
Keeping access points clear to allow other users to exit safely and swiftly if needed.
Please bring your own towel to sit on during your session.
We recommend 10-15 minute periods in the sauna at a time, after that you may enjoy the sea or fresh air to cool down before entering the sauna again.
Gently pour water onto the sauna stove.
Only pouring the provided 'sauna water' on hot rocks.
Not touching any part of the stove / stove cage or rocks.
Glass is not permitted inside the sauna. Please bring your own water bottle and leave in the changing area.
Arrive at 5 minutes before your session so you allow time to get changed to enjoy your full time slot.
Please do not take photographs or videos during our communal sessions to respect our other guests.
Salt & Stone Saunas take no responsibility for the damage or loss of customers' property.
Salt & Stone are not liable for loss of life or injury during your sauna session.
Group Booking Responsibility
If you are making this booking on behalf of a group, it is your responsibility to make your group aware of the terms and conditions and to practice safe sauna use. Please share the details provided here.
Admission Policy
We reserve the right to refuse admission for any reason that may be deemed a health and safety risk. Refunds will not be offered to anyone refused admission.
